What Makes us Healthy Being - The Pillars of Health




Most people when they think of health, it is only their physical body that they concern themselves with. Yes, I am guilty of that. To get optimum wellness we must take in consideration the total package of YOU. That is our  mental health, emotional health, spiritual health, and last but not least physical health. All these aspects balance us to our best. When one or more of these elements are imbalance, so is our health. No amount of dieting will be effective if you don't get to the root of what's really eating you. Think about why you are eating  sweets like there is no tomorrow. How do you feel when you are eating something sweet? I know I get a warm and fuzzy inside. You know, like when you are in love or the feeling of being loved. So when I am over eating sweets I look at my emotions or is it something my body really is asking for.

I am learning how to deconstruct my cravings. This is something I will talk about more in the near future. I just want to share my thoughts on some things I will be learning in the up coming year at IIN the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a health coach. What an amazing journey this will be learning how to listen to my body. As hard as we are on our bodies, mind, and soul, it has never failed us. It still find a way to keep us together and healthy as it can. Do yourself a favor and show YOU how much in love you are with you. It's never to late to get instinctive about your wellness.
